Pain still after 1 year

From Travis:-
Hi, I thought that I would write you to ask you a few question on my vasectomy while I was waiting to visit my family doctor just to see what you have to say. I had my vasectomy done exactly 1 year and 3 months ago and I was wondering if it is normal to still get a lot of pain after having my surgery done so long ago? I receive pain at any time wether it is during sexual intercourse or not, I receive pain wether my testicles are tight or not and it seems to come on at any time for absolutely no reason. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or if the procedure did not work. I haven’t passed in my semen samples because I was moving at the time and didn’t think it was a big deal but now I am thinking. Do you know of any signs or symptoms that come along with a vasectomy that didn’t work? If so, can you please let me know of those symptoms? Thank you.
The only sign a man might notice that his vasectomy is not working is a positive pregnancy test from his partner. Otherwise, a functional or failed vasectomy will not be apparent in any other way.
