Have you ever refused to do a vasectomy based on other diseases an individual has? I have Diabetes, Acid Reflux, and High Cholesterol.
There are very few instances where a patient’s co-morbidities would preclude a vasectomy. Diabetes, acid reflux or high cholesterol are definitely not the case in which we would recommend not doing a vasectomy. The only medical situations that would preclude doing a vasectomy would be having an uncorrectable bleeding disorder. Vasectomy is an office procedure done under a local anesthetic which does not place any significant risk on a man’s cardiopulmonary systems.
