"The fear and pain is all
psychological"
Day of Surgery
I had mine done a little over 2 weeks now.
I think that the stories from others and the unknown of the
operation were the worst part. To tell you the truth, I woke up
in the morning thinking about how much pain I would be in. It was
performed at the Dr's office, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I
imagined. Funny how the imagination can play tricks on you.
Anyway, I thought what the heck I will go through with it. The
only thing I felt was the needle on both sides. After that I
didn't feel a thing. So think about it. You have 10 seconds of
pain. Anyone can put up with that, plus the rewards afterward are
well worth it. I was not allowed to work-out with weights for a
week, and actually enjoyed the time off. I took Thursday and
Friday off from work and I would recommend that to anyone.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday were the worst part, but if you
ever had a groin pull or strain, it is just like that. My two
recommendations are to wear tight fitting underwear for support,
and don't do anything those first 3 days that will cause you
injury.
Week Two
After the first week, I was my old self
again, except a little weary to work out and injure something.
Sex drive and sex is back were it was too. There was a bump were
he cut me, but once again, the fear of it was playing tricks on
me. I have not lost the drive or any feelings. I started with
sets of 40-50 pushups until I got to 200. I also did curls and
reverse curls the second week. I feel like my old self now and
will start right back were I was at before the surgery next
week.
Post Check up
The Doctor looked at the scar today, and
said it is healing very well. He answered some of my questions
and sent me home with a bottle for testing sperm level. I guess I
am still potent for up to 20-25 ejacs. I still am so glad I had
this done....

update
Everything is the same as before. A day or
two after my last checkup I did notice some swelling and
urination was not very strong and orgasm's did not feel good. I
was thinking "great, this is going to suck if this is how I feel
for the rest of my life." I think I may have irritated something
by doing sit-ups and reverse crunches that week. I decided to not
do that and drank plenty of fluids. A couple days later
everything was back to normal. It has been over a month now, and
I feel great. In fact, I feel like my old self and have had no
further problems. I would rate my surgery as a complete success.
I probably created my own problems, and quickly remedied the
situation.

update
May 23rd I dropped off a sample for
testing at a local laboratory. The doctor called on the 27th and
said the sample was clear. I need to get one more sample that
passes in a week, and then we are okayed to have intercourse
without any protection. I think the best part is that I feel no
different, and my mother-in-law has no clue I had this done. She
was on a cruise when it happened, so I just laugh to myself when
she asks when I am having the surgery. I might keep her in the
dark for a few years. Oh one thing we noticed is that the
ejaculations are much more watery then before.
