"Thumbs up for Valium"
Procedure was quick and did not hurt at all. I did not feel the cut and barely felt the Novocaine shot. Remember that the shot just barely goes into the skin and not through the skin. There was some discomfort as the doctor pulled on the Vas. The real discomfort came about a day or so after. My nuts were a little sore and got worse if I stood or walked for a while. Still the pain was not bad, it is just uncomfortable having pain down there. I would say that the anxiety was my worst enemy. The Valium helped. Ask your doctor for Valium or something. They will give it to you rather than put you out. I was awake and barely knew that the thing happened. Good luck.
