33 years later....
I had my vasectomy when I was 32 years old. My wife was 28, we had two children. It was done in the doctors office. He was talking on the phone to his stock broker most of the time while he performed the procedure. There was no pain or swelling. My wife and I could hardly wait until that night to see if I could still ejaculate. It worked exactly like it did before the vasectomy. :)
I had it done one Friday afternoon, I worked shift work and wasn't due to return to work until the following Wednesday. I had no problems and returned to work on Wednesday.
The doctor did require a fresh sample when he checked for sperm. I had to masturbate in the bathroom at the doctors office. I asked him if he guarantee that my wife wouldn't get pregnant.... he said he would guarantee that " I " wouldn't make my wife pregnant. :)
This was done 33 years ago. I have had no problems from the vasectomy. I will add that my wife and I still have sex every day! :)
