Welcome to the new look stories feedback and discussion section! We did have a forum in place, but it was unfortunately attacked by spammers and had to be closed. However, we think it is important to have a place where people can leave comments on the stories they have read, discuss in public the stories of those contributors willing to do so, and have the facility to contact people who may have been through what you are going through right now who may be able to help you.
If you want to add your comments to this section, please email me, and I'll add it to the appropriate page. Please note that as webmaster I reserve the right to decline to publish, or edit any comments submitted.
Commenting on stories
If you have been moved by one of the stories, you may want to comment on how it has affected you, or just to say thanks to the contributor for taking the time and trouble to write up their experience.
Public discussion of the stories
Some of our contributors are happy to have public discussion of their stories. If the story contributor hasn't elected to have open discussion of their story, obviously I can't publish it on the discussions page, but it may be suitable for inclusion on the comments page.
Contacting the story contributors
You may have read a particular story that strikes a chord with you. Maybe you are going through what somebody else has already been through and has posted their story, or maybe you can help someone else as you have had a similar experience. Getting in contact with each other could help both of you.
If you want to get in contact with a contributor, just drop me an email and I'll try to pass your details on. It should be appreciated that some of the stories were submitted as far back as 1999, and some of the email addresses I have as last known contact may no longer be valid and working. Some of our contributors regularly help others by chatting to them and are happy to help, so please feel free to make contact.
