How, why, where, when and what to do with
it!
Well I've done my research, spoken with the Bride (for 16yrs), am 37, 2 kids (8 & 10), and decided that "MY GOD" wouldn't mind, and went under the scapel last Friday 7 July. The reasons, the Bride and I have CHOSEN not to have anymore children, (2 blonde girls are enough). The procedure has less risk factors for me than her. I've read ALL the posting here, and Yes I've went to the other site as well, Thanks Dave.

Yes I agree that most men with no problems aren't out surfing for

For those who have had PVD bummer, hope it subsides and thank you

Ok just the facts
3:30 Friday, No Scapel Vas. Started out
with me shaving prior, first shot, not bad, started moving the
boys around, OUCH,,, another shot, overall didn't hurt until the
end, Dr. must of pushed wrong on Lefty, OUCH, other than that,
not much pain, However I did feel faint afterward, So much for
the tough guy from the Pacific Northwest, Mama picked me up took
me home.
Heres MY TIP - USE FROZEN PEAS, they form well and are reuseable, and 15 minutes on 15 off, and sitting in the bathroom is easier, WATCH THE SHAKE it will definately get your attention.
Sat in the Lazy Boy rest of the night and most of the next day, watching movies, did stretch the legs abit. (I smoke, but not in the house, kids and all).
Sunday, Mama and the girls are at camp had to fend for myself,,,, lol, sat behind the puter and surfed played games. My point is that I planned it so I didn't have anything to do for 2 1/2 days.
Went to work Monday, 2 block walk not bad, Lefty still more swollen and slightly tender.
Tues, some tenderness at this point, am still aware but not uncomfortable.
Ok "MY" results and

Was scared to death, did it anyway,
procedure Kinda hurt but have felt worse, (Hammer to thumb much
worse, stubbing toe worse)
Several days of discomfort worth not worrying about another child

Females at work think I'm wonderful - Guys just
cringe
Haven't fooled around yet Mama is still out of town. Erections,, several (Naked Babes in flicks) nothing out of the norm. Good excuse to be a coach potato and play on the puter, read different posting, Had several good chuckles reading all 211 posting here.
My Q now is, the Bride and I tease each other throughout the day before fooling around, the boys will sometimes ache abit until we get around to sex, afterwards with the release it goes away. Now whats going to happen with the tubes tide to the built up sperm? I know its aborbed into the body, but whats it going to feel like?
Day 6:-
Well today is day 6 and I walked alot and
had some pain in my lower left pelvic area, not much just a dull
ache. Overall things look to be healing normally, (slower than
the Dr. said, but what I expected) a little achie but overall but
its not distracting. The left side is still more bruised, and
lefty is still a little tender. Still happy with my
choice.
Day 7:-
Well Mama and I fooled around last night,
had several twinges of pain during climax, not bad but noticable.
The swelling in lefty went away and is almost back to normal.
Whether this had anything to do with fooling around don't know,
but it didn't hurt LOL. Overall things apear to be healing at a
steady pace, the vas is still swollen and tender, but am able to
do normal activitites, however wouldn't go jogging just yet. I
see the Doc tomorrow.
I do have a helpful hint
today:-
I bought several pair of Hanes Bikini sport underwear to help
support the boys, tried regular jockys today, the other are more
supportive by far. ALSO the hair is starting to grow back, the
Bikinis help keep the stuble away from my legs, which by the way
is very irritating, not much itching yet. Just that damn stuble
on the inner thigh started to get on my nerves today.
A full week:-
Saw the Dr. today; he gave me a clean bill
of health and a glass jar, and told me to "come" back with a
specimen after 20 ejaculations. The area looks almost normal
except I'm still bald. The hair is growing back, with the only
noticeable side affect is that it irritates my inner thighs. Over
all still glad I did it only discomfort now (minus hair growth)
is if I sit wrong and put extra pressure on the boys.
On side note; My father, and 2 Uncles have all had vasectomies with no sign of Prostate Cancer, all are over 60 and had it done 25 or more years ago.
As for anyone else who is reading this and is worried, about the procedure or confidentiality, you can always use a different email, ie hotmail, bigfoot, yahoo, and ask away, its been a great help to me.
