Vasectomy Information home page > This page

My wife and I get sent a phenomenal amount of email. We usually manage to log about 30,000 emails a week. Clearly most of these are unsolicited spam, and we have to use an effective filter. The danger is that some genuine emails are inevitably marked for deletion automatically. Below are some simple ways to make sure this doesn't happen to you.

Please don't send emails in any other form than plain text. My ISP's email filter has a habit of marking anything other that this as a possible virus and deletes it. Plain text emails will get through.

Please don't send me attachments! If my ISP's email screening program doesn't delete your email because it's got an attachment then my email program almost certainly will! If you are sending me a story, don't sent a MS Word attachment - it will get deleted by my ISP. Simply paste the text of your story into the body of the email.

Don't use all block capitals! MY VASECTOMY STORY will probably get deleted, but My vasectomy story wouldn't.

Put the word vasectomy somewhere in the subject. E.G. my vasectomy story, question on vasectomy etc.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
